Our Monday storytime will turn into a fun-filled STEAM program this summer! Get ready to get our little hands dirty as we explore many STEAM concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. We will play with bubbles, paint with rainbow sprinkles, make our own ice cream, and much much more!
This program is free. No sign-up needed. Parents and caregivers - please be prepared to do the activity with your child because it often involves direct supervision and involvement. For large groups, please call ahead.
An inspiring talk with a world class athlete, wilderness adventurer and author
In 2011, two-time Appalachian Trail thru-hiker Jennifer Pharr Davis wanted to test her limits. With the support of her husband, Brew, and a dedicated group of volunteers dubbed the "Pit Crew," Jen hiked, stumbled, and sometimes crawled the 2,181-mile A.T. in 46 days (an average of 47 miles per day), becoming the fastest person to hike the trail and the first woman to ever set the mark.
