One Book 4 Colorado
From April 18 – 29, every four year old in the state of Colorado will receive their own copy of the same book to keep!
We will be delivering books to the preschools and have books available for pick up in the Kids Department at the Library. There will be both English and Spanish versions available throughout Colorado and will be accessible to children with special needs.

Never too early to start reading
So I just returned from the PLA (Public Librarian Association) Conference in Philadelphia. In sum, it was fantastic! I learned quite a bit about the new edition of Every Child Ready to Read, the essential Early Literacy skills that every child should have before they even learn to read.
