NaNoWriMo 2017

NaNoWriMo Late Night Write

Saturday, November 24, 2012 - 5:00pm to 11:45pm
  • Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, 68 Ninth St.

Bud Werner Memorial Library and Off the Beaten Path Bookstore present National Novel Writing Month...30 days & nights of literary abandon for all ages: November 1-30, 2012.

During this special Late Night Write at the Library, our persevering novelists will have the run of the entire upstairs in the main library -- after hours. There will be plenty of silence and space to sprawl out for creation of maximum word-count throughout the evening.

The library doors will be locked, so participants will need to call us to get inside. You must  RSVP by email by Friday, Nov. 24 and let us know you'll be joining the Late Night Write crew in order to get the cell phone number you need for access!

What is NaNoWriMo?
A fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30. Interested novelists should visit the official NaNoWriMo web site  to learn more about the national program.
