The library's got game!

Bud Werner Memorial Library presents gaming fun for EVERYONE. Bring in your favorite game to share, or choose something new to try. The library will have an assortment of games available for loan at the front desk. Enjoy a little friendly competition in your favorite corner of the library.

  • Start your games all around the library at 10:30 a.m.  -- board games, cards, chess, checkers....vintage or new!
  • BINGO! starts at 1 p.m. in the Children's Storytime Room
  • Play Wii Video Games from 1-4 p.m. in the Teen Project Room

All ages are welcome and no registration is required. Drop in for all types of play.

There's a PRIZE! When you come to the library for game day, enter to win the game Labyrinth!

International Games Day is an initiative of the American Library Association to connect communities around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games. Communities across the U.S. (and internationally!) are coming together in the spirit of play. This year’s event expects to draw more than 20,000 people at more than 1,200 libraries.
