We are going to grow readers this summer!
Read and earn cool prizes like tattoos, super balls, bug squirters or best of all – a brand new book! Here’s how: When school lets out, start keeping track of your reading. It takes 3 hours of reading (or being read to) to claim your next prize at the Kids’ Desk.
Reading Incentive Maps will be available at the Kids' Desk starting Thursday, June 13th or download one here (coming soon).
Kids may begin collecting prizes on Thursday, June 13th. No prizes after August 23rd. Only one map per summer, please. Download the map (pdf) below.

Trivia Raffle
Come to the library this summer and test your knowledge of all things "underground" in our daily trivia contest. If you get the answer correct, we’ll enter your name in a raffle for incredible prizes — like milkshakes, rodeo tickets, and more! Ten winners will be drawn every Thursday. All prizes are donated by our generous local sponsors.
Grand Prize: Library Sleepover
If you read 50 hours or more during the Summer Reading Program you will be awarded with the grand prize — a sleepover inside the Library! You must hand in your Reading Incentive Map with your marked 50 hours, and sign-up at the Kids' Desk by Monday, August 5.
The sleepover starts at 7 pm on Friday night (Aug 9), and pickup is 7:30 am Saturday morning. Parents are more than welcome and encouraged to attend -- it's fun for everyone!
