I first decided to read this book, because I'd heard about it from a few people, and when I finally got it... I got very attached. I don't even think I know how to explain it... I just really loved the book. It was mysterious, and also a little adventurous, and it definitely got a little suspenseful. There are books where you don't even want to talk about the ending. This just happens to be one of them. Nevertheless, the ending caused me to need the next book even more. This book was fantastic, and now I may or may not be just a little obsessed...
THIS AUTHOR. He just about killed me with the very literal cliff-hanger in the previous book.
Rick Riordan has written many great books, and with this one, he managed to do it again. I love the characters and the plots, and well, I think this is my favorite book in his Heroes of Olympus series.
Each character had their moment to shine, and the book led me on an adventure. It was a little sad at times, but there was humor to lighten up the mood!
Like I said, I loved this book, and I love every single other book that Rick Riordan has written!
This book is a little different than the books I usually read. I had heard that it was really good from quite a few friends, but they tended to get a little more into a book, emotionally. Anyways, I was told it was amazing, so I gave it a try.
I absolutely loved the book. Normally I don't go for books that seem like just a sappy love story, but the common saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover" (or in this case, description blurb thingy) turned out to be completely true. John Green did a great job, and although I've never been one to get emotional about books, this book made me curl up afterwards just to think about what I had just read.
In other words, it was FANTASTIC.
