This is a 868 page book. I only recommend it if you like long historical fictions. This book is amazing. It combines: action, adventure, gold mining, and salmon fishing. It starts out with Alaska being formed, Then goes to the mammoths and the Neanderthals(ne-and-er-tals). We slowly move on to the gold rush and then slower times with salmon fishing. This book is a very riveting 10 shovel-sleds out of 10.
If you open the front cover to read what this book is about you will see in big bold red and white letters RYAN DEAN WEST'S LIFE IS COMPLICATED. That pretty much sums up this book. I rate this book...... Ha just joking but that is true. Ryan Dean is his first name, and he is 14. He has a difficult rugby life (in injuries) and his crush is a girl two years older then him, more accuratley he is two years younger because he skipped a few grades. Along with a few doodles this book is pretty great. NOW I rate it 10 space needles out of 10.
In book one of Virga you are in a 3,000 kilometer diameter balloon. The towns of Virga must build suns and make the towns in a circle and spin them for gravity. Hayden Griffin is a bitter child who grew up with pirate and wants to kill Admiral Chaison in revenge of his family. I rate this book ten "bikes" out of ten.
This is a great book. It is set on the island of Orokos. Orokos is plagued by probability storms which change everything. The main characters are Rail, who needs a respirator thanks to a probability storm and Moa, who is homeless and oucasted because a probability storm killed her parents. They find a mysterious artifact and find out it can make a hole through a wall. They are being chased for it so they run to Kilatas for refuge. On the way there they find a rejected golem whose name is Vago. When they get to Kilatas Vago runs away and they go after him. They need to break into the Fulcrum to save him. The Fulcrum is the home of all probability storms. They destroy it and get launched away from Orokos to the ships thet Kilatas built to escape. Vago dies saving them. I rate this ten mice in a glass kingdom out of ten!
This is the first book in the Chronicles of Nick series. Nick is the main character(duh), he can save or destroy the world, destroy if he gets to mad. Nick must fight demons(like himself, just not as strong or cool) to stay away from "prison." That prison is the "lead" demons prison. Nick's breed of demons is made to serve and destroy. I rate this ten zombies out of ten.
This is the third book(out of four). He has learned how to raise the dead, kill the dead, how to use a scrying bowl, anf clairvoyance(how to see things from the futer, a long time ago, to the left or right of him, pretty much anywhere) and he STILL can't drive. This is the book where he learns he can destroy the world. I rate this ten computer/zombie killing shops out of ten. CA-BUBBA!
This is the LAST book. Nick finnaly gets his drivers licence but it is not as fun as he thought. His girlfriend, demons, super-demons, demons that the gods fear, undead demons, all kinds of demons,(not including his girlfriend, though she is here to do the same thing) are out to kill or capture him. He must learn to control fire and other elements. I rate this ten "uncles" out of ten.
The main character in this book is a Crat named Echo. He lives in Malaisea, the unhealthiest town in Zamonia. He can speak any language. He has to sign a contract with Ghoolion, the alchemaster. In return for feeding Echo, Ghoolion will render down his fat on the next full moon. In order to render his fat down though, Ghoolion will have to kill Echo. I rate this ten Leathermice out of ten.
