About Me

Logan
Hi!!!! Picking favorite stuff is too hard for me because I usually like everything. Actually, I've pretty much liked every book I've ever read, except for the boring ones. For fun I love to ski and play soccer. In the winter I do nordic combined and alpine racing. In the summer I play soccer. Most of my time is spent doing athletics, but I always fall asleep reading a book.

I only started reading this book because my grandma gave it to me for christmas and told me that it was "a wonderful book that made me think of you". I put off reading it for about 6 months but then I didn't have any new books to read so I picked this one up. Belive me, I don't like reading non-fiction books, so it's pretty amazing that a real-life story about a cat pulled me in so fast. It's a really interesting yet funny book, so good that I made excuses to use it for my "survival" unit in school. *warning* I got a little bit tierd with all of the cat stuff as the book went on.

This was another book I read for our survival unit. It's about a girl who is graced with the power to kill. She can even kill someone with the nail of her pinky. However, she doesn't want any part of her grace because her uncle abuses he power. The part that I liked most about it was the the fact that the author was really good at covaying emotions. It was also a tale about survival, love, faith, and inner strength, which was amazingly told through the eyes of a outcast. The battle she wages against her uncle is more than just of a battle between two people, it's a battle for the inner strength to resist. It's an amazing book and I hope you read it.

The lost hero

I really liked this book. It was kind-of a spin off from the original series (percy jackson and the olympians) and had many of the same characters. The 3 main characters however, are different, but they have the same action-packed adventure that Percy did in the first series. This is a great book for anyone but would be better if you had read the the Percy Jackson series first.

This is one of my abosolute favorite books!!! I read it because it was my friend Tess's favorite book. Each chapter was a cliff-hanger and I fell asleep at 12:00 each night I read it because I couldn't stop. Just when you think that everything is going to end up alright, something new is discovered or something terrible happens to throw all of the characters up on the line between everything working out and distaster and chaos. The future (where this book takes place) is filled with dangerous situations, everything from your airship sinking, to pirates, and in this amazing book, everything that can go wrong does.

The curious incident of the dog in the night-time

This book was amazing!!!! It's a little hard to follow because it's from the perspective of a kid who has a mental disorder, but it if you can understand it, you'll love it!!! When the boy runs away from home, he learns how the world sees people like him, and encouters many hardships on the way to where he's going. I think the best part of this book is how he perservers through all of the bad stuff and the crazyness so he can attempt to set his world back to as normal as it can ever be. Also, there is A LOT of cussing, but if you can get past that it really is amazing.

The dream merchant
Hoving, Isabel.

This book was actually really good, even though it was really really long. It was about a bunch of kids who travel through time. I had to read parts of it a couple of times because the whole theory they have of time travel is hard to understand. The kids are used to sell products to people back in time. For example they sell a mirror to someone in medival times and make almost 10 times what they would make in modern times. Then they lose control of the time travel and they have to find their way out through friendship, instinct, and perserverance.

If I stay

This book was absolutly postivly amazing!!!! It's about a girl who gets in a car crash in which her whole family dies and is flight for lifed to a nearby hospital. While she's in the hospital she has to make the hardest descion ever, if she wants to stay alive and live without her family or join them. The writing and plot line are incredible, and it's astounding how the book playes out. The book transfers from flashbacks to what's happening in the moment, and it's hard not to form your own opinions about the girl's descion. I can't tell you how it plays out, but it really is an amazing book.

This book is realllllly good. I don't really like all of the vampire/werewolf books, but this one was amazing!!!! It was so good because you could acutally feel the emotions the characters were having as you read the book. I really liked it and am 99% sure anyone who reads it will too. I can't really put into words the other reasons why this book was so good, so you'll just have to read it yourself.

It's been a while since I read this book, but just writing this makes me want to read it again. It's about a man who can read characters out of stories. The writing is amazing, for example, the author has to create 3 entirely different worlds, with extensive detail about all of them. Also, even though it is about an entirely different universe, it is still very realistic. I remember after I first read it, I started reading out loud to see if the characters from my book would jump out of the pages.
