I was hesitant to read The Call of the wild, it was a book required by my teacher. but after only the first chapter i have to admit I was loving this book.The main character, Buck, both wowed me and inspired me.
Buck is a large and very cunning dog, who turns out to be a incredible sled-dog. But buck is not a husky nor was he bore in the cold and harsh environment of the north. Buck was bore in the sun-kissed Santa Clara valley and had a simple relaxed life. That is until his is savagely ripped from his Warm home and forced into the ragging river that was the Alaskan Gold-rush. Forced than to adapt to life in a harness Buck much use his skill and cunning to survive the challenges his new life posses.
Seraphina is a very unique book with it's own very unique look of dragons. Books like
eragon and others have established the fact that dragons have magic but Rachel (the author) Was the first I had seen to say that the dragons could take human form and have there own society and schools ex.

She makes friends around the castle but has a secret she must hold. she may not let anyone know she is half dragon. her teacher and uncle is a dragon and tries ti protect her the best he can but the dragon council frowns on it. now plagued at night by a strange gathering of people in her dreams she has to fight to stop another war between the humans and the dragons. She has one foot on each side of a creak that is ever widening.
If you like Advantage Books fantasy books or even Romantic you will love this book. If you have seen the movie you may not understand the true amazing story of Eragon and Saphira. This suspenseful journey between Saphira and her rider pulls you in and does not let go till the end of the entire series. Eragon makes many many friends that turn into a wonderful diverse family; First is his beloved dragon, Saphira, along with a celestial elf named Arya, who Eragon foolishly falls in love with, Brom a past dragon rider and Eragon's mentor, and finally Orik, a dwarf who likes Eragon from the start and is the dwarf king's nephew. After Saphira hatches for Eragon who is currently a farm boy, they have to trust Brom to teach them as they run from the tyrant king and Dragon rider, Galbatorix, he and his black dragon have ruled Alagaësia for a very very long time.
Tiger's Curse is the perfect mixture of Fantasy, Adventure, and Romance. I also Liked this book because it had travling in it; from the U.S to India. but I should not tell to much. Read this book! You will not regret it.
