This is an amazing book and should be read. The plot of the book is so awesome! It has a futuristic feeling to it and Suzanne Collins really makes you believe it. Two tributes from each of the 12 districts must compete in battle. The book focuses on 2 tributes. Katniss and Peeta. They are very interesting characters with a cool past and interesting future ahead of them. A MUST READ! The hunger games are filled with action, misery, and adventure. Don't miss out on this one.
The great first book in the prequel to Cirque du Freak. If you have not read the first series then I would not recomend this book. If you have I highly recomend this book. It builds up the story of the vampeneze and the vampires clashing. It also lets you to get to know Larten Crepsley alot more. Its a page turner just like all the other 1000000 Darren Shan books. Great story, interesting plot and if you read the Cirque du Freak series this is a definent read. 9/10 and a great book!
AMAZING!! This book is my all time favorite of Darren's books. It has suspense, dark humor, mystery. I read the first page or 2 and next thing you knew the next day I was on the 2nd book in the series. Its a pageeee turnerrrrrr!! I have read all 12 books in this series and highly recomend this book to anyone looking for a great horror book. The story is amazing and keeps you interested. The plot keeps rising and rising all through the series and when you finish you keep having wierd thoughts of what could have happend in the '13'th book. I could write all day about this book! Overall its a 10/10 and the series is even better. 5 STAR!!
THIS IS BY FAR THE BLOODIEST, MOST INTENSE DEMONATA BOOK OF ALL!!! Look at the title, Demon Apocalypse. 50 million demons come out a tunnel and about 10 people kill them all! When you read this book your imagination flys! The way Darren Shan descripes the demons and deaths in this book are unbeliveable!!! You will imagine some things you have never ever even thought of imagining before. Example: The dog like demon with a stinger is charging me! I have to rip the stinger out and stick it in its neck....
I made that up but its like that but with 10 million times more gorry detail. A must read if your reading the Cirque du Freak Series!!
This book (and series) is very good. I can't tell you how much of a page turner this book is. Lord Loss is the first in the exciting series The Demonata. Fan of BLOOD? VIOLENCE? HUMOR? GREAT MYSTERY? HORROR? If you are then you better check this book out right now. When I finished the Cirque du Freak series I got this book right away. The plot is great and will keep you thinking every night before you go to bed. I stayed up till 2 in the morning reading this book and finished it. All the books in The Demonata are about 200-250 pages long. Great short, exciting reads for anytime. The dark humor in this book is LOL funny but this book should be read by teens only. You must read this one to be able to read the others or it will not make sense. Great book! 10/10

This is a great book for younger kids looking for some scary stuff! Its an alright book when I look back at it now but in 5th grade when I read it I loved it. The ghost and old summer house idea, just awesome! Any younger kids looking for a nice book I recomend it highly. 4 out of 5!
