About the Tai Chi instructors
The group practice will be led by Tai Chi instructors from the Aging Well program at the Northwest Colorado VNA. The instructors are trained and certified to teach Tai Chi for Health, a program designed to help older adults and individuals with a variety of health challenges safely experience the many benefits of the health exercise. When practiced regularly, Tai Chi improves strength, balance, posture and flexibility. Tai Chi for Health also has been shown to ease arthritis other pain and promote calmness and a positive mindset. Aging Well instructors currently teach Tai Chi for Health classes in Steamboat, Oak Creek, Hayden and Craig.
