Parents are invited to an informative session about best practices, strategies, and tips for guiding your beginning reader.

Parents are invited to an informative session about best practices, strategies, and tips for guiding your beginning reader. Kim, founder of the nonprofit Steamboat Reading, has been teaching kids how to read for more than twenty years and loves to share her knowledge and passion for literacy & learning. Find out how to support your child on the path to reading. Kim will give you the tools to help your beginning reader develop the skills they need to learn to read. Helping your child learn these skills is fun for both of you!

During Steamboat Reading's presentation there will be stories and a craft with the Children's Librarian for kids ages 4-7. Your kids can enjoy storytime in the Storytime Room while you learn strategies for your beginning reader!

Can't make it to the workshop? No problem! We will repeat the program Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 3:00pm and again on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 3:00pm. Add these dates to your calendar today!
