Attention kids and parents!  Join the Routt County Humane Society (RCHS) Outreach Committee at the Bud Werner Memorial Library on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10:30 a.m. Come learn more about RCHS and our commitment to the community before heading out along the core trail to discover the StoryWalk®. Weather and availability pending adoptable (and kid friendly) dogs will be onsite at the event!

We will have snacks and drinks at the StoryWalk to celebrate the first anniversary of our community StoryWalk! The walk from the library is about a mile round trip so plan for sun and bugs; strollers or wagons might also be a good idea! The Steamboat StoryWalk® is an innovative and educational way for kids to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time! Throughout August and September the route will feature our newest "tail", Picture Book by Dog written and illustrated by Michael Relth!
