Come celebrate the spooky season with us! Meet at the Steamboat Community Center playground and we will direct you to the StoryWalk to read the deconstructed story placed along the path while trick-or-treating along the way! Costumes are encouraged! All ages welcome!

The Steamboat StoryWalk® is an innovative and educational way for kids to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time! Throughout October the route will feature our newest picture book Christopher Pumpkin by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet! Christopher Pumpkin is delighted to be magicked to life by a witch - until he discovers she wants him and the other pumpkins to get her creepy castle ready for the spookiest party ever! Chris just can't bring himself to hang cobwebs and cook curried slugs - he's much more into bunting and fairy cakes! A delightful story about blazing your own trail, perfect for reading aloud!
