A free musical performance inspired by the Yampa River by students from Johns Hopkins University

Join the students with the Johns Hopkins Field Course for a community concert focused on classical music surrounding the theme of water, and featuring local artists Kathleen Allen, soprano, and Margaret Patterson, piano. This is the closing gathering for nine graduate students from Johns Hopkins University who have been taking a 10-day field course on the Upper Yampa River Watershed.  The vocal and piano music, by notable composers from several lands, has been selected to reflect the wonderful interplay of water and nature along the river. Kathleen and Margaret will provide a brief description of each piece.

The program for this recital is linked below as a pdf you can open on your phone.
