Celebrate Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday observed around the world to honor those who have passed.

Community Altar / Altar Comunitario

  • Everyone is welcome to contribute! Bring a photo or token to remember a lost loved one, or come by and write a note to add to the display. No candles are allowed, however electric tea lights are encouraged and will be provided. Photos or tokens that are left on the altar can be reclaimed from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in the Library Conference Room located in the administration wing next to Library Hall.
  • Un altar comunitario para que la gente participe, trayendo una foto, un recuerdo, o escriba un pensamiento de algún ser querido que ya murió. Si dejaron alguna fotografía o recuerdo, pueden pasar a recogerlo el miercoles
    5 de Noviembre de 9 am a 5 pm en el Library Conference Room.

Add photos, flowers and tokens for your loved ones throughout the day. This lunchtime ceremony is the only time that live candles will be permitted on the altar. Electric candles will illuminate the altar during the rest of the week.

Ven a colocar fotos, flores y recuerdos de tus seres queridos durante el día. Esta hora será la única vez en donde se permitirá encender velas en el altar. Habrá velas automáticas que iluminaran el altar durante el resto de la semana.
