Thinking Differently

Wednesday, January 31, 2024 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Library Hall

It’s time for all of us to THINK DIFFERENTLY about neurodiversity and inclusion. Join our community workshop with Yampa Valley Autism.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone looking for a deeper understanding of “invisible” disabilities such as autism and ADHD.
  • Parents, Grandparents, Educators, Business Owners, HR Professionals, Service Industry Employees

Why should you attend?

It’s time for us to THINK DIFFERENTLY about neurodiversity and inclusion. Working together, we can make our community more accessible to neurodivergent people so we can all benefit from many different thinking styles. Yampa Valley Autism wants to give you tools to expand your diversity and inclusion efforts.

What will you learn?

  • Develop a better understanding of the gifts and challenges that come with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD
  • Learn to recognize and consider CAN’T vs WON’T.
  • Understand Executive Function Skills and the role they play in your interactions with others.
  • Come away with strategies to mitigate communication challenges.
