Gardening season is near! Bud Werner Memorial Library is teaming up the Routt County CSU Master Gardeners to offer a night of expert gardening advice to help you plan and maximize your summer garden. Learn about the best use of our short growing season, whether your garden space is small or large.

The Master Gardeners will host 2.5 hours of hands-on demonstrations in Library Hall, from 5:30-8 p.m. During this open house gardening event, get your hands in the dirt and talk one-on-one with the Yampa Valley's resident gardening experts. Demos will include an introduction to gardening in Routt County, our common pests and weeds, seed selection, transplanting, soil information container gardens, season extension, water-wise gardening and more! Routt County CSU Extension's soil sample kits will be available for purchase on site as well.
