Storytime with Yampatika
- Children's Storytime Room
Join Yampatika for their Frozen Family Fun Days as they take over the library's Sunday Storytime once a month all winter long! On December 15 learn about how our local wildlife prepare for the winter season after we read a handful of fun winter animal stories. Free for all ages, no registration is necessary! Some adventures may take place outside, so please plan for weather, sun, and noise.
Can't make it to this storytime? No problem! Add these dates to your calendar for future Yampatika storytime takeovers:
- January 19th, 10:30 – 11:30am – Learn about how snowflakes are made!
- February 16th, 10:30 – 11:30am – Learn how to figure out who’s been wandering around in the snow!
- March 9th, 10:30 – 11:30am – Learn about our local engineers: beavers!
Yampatika’s mission is to inspire environmental stewardship through education. Established in 1992 as the “Yampatika Outdoor Awareness Association,” Yampatika continues to be the only non-profit organization that offers a continuum of educational services to children and adults ranging in age from PreK to senior citizens in Routt, Moffat Rio Blanco, and Jackson Counties.
