Tie Dye Bash
Saturday, August 10, 2024 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm
- Library Lawn - Outside of the Children's Storytime Room
School-aged kids are invited to celebrate summer with a Tie Dye Bash outside on Library Lawn, complete with ice cream, popcorn, and lemonade! To participate please bring a shirt made of natural materials such as cotton, rayon, bamboo, etc. Fibers such as polyester will not retain dye. We will have a few items to dye for those that forget, or cannot bring a shirt. This tie-dye, STEAM-oriented program will create an artistic masterpiece out of an old or even stained shirt. Learn how to tie a design inside, then be prepared for sun and bugs to go outside to dye your project! All school-aged participants are welcome; however, those under 12 years old will need an adult assistant.
