April 12, 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of Buddy Werner's untimely death in a Swiss avalanche.

Join the Bud Werner Memorial Library and Tread of Pioneers Museum for a free community screening of I Never Look Back: The Buddy Werner Story, a film by John Dee and Joe Dee.

Tread of Pioneers Museum is hosting a special Buddy Werner commemoration in the museum's ski history exhibit through September. The Buddy Werner scrapbook that typically resides the Library's Local History Room has been temporarily relocated to the Tread of Pioneers Museum for this display that is open to the public during regular museum hours. 

While you are at the Library, you are also invited to peruse the permanent exhibit, "Bud Werner – The Spirit of a Man, the Soul of a Community," located outside Library Hall.
