Introducing the Community Puzzle Table: A Space to Create, Connect, and Relax

We're excited to introduce a new experience at the library—our Community Puzzle Table! Located in a cozy nook, this inviting space is designed for up to four puzzlers to come together and enjoy the art of puzzle-solving. Whether you’re a seasoned puzzler or a beginner, this dedicated area provides the perfect environment for relaxing and engaging with others and presents a unique challenge! 

Handcrafted Wooden Puzzles: A Unique Experience

The puzzle table features Mosaic or Liberty brand wooden puzzles, carefully crafted with high-quality materials to offer an unparalleled tactile experience. These puzzles are no ordinary puzzles—they are a chance to engage with beautiful, hand-cut wooden pieces that fit together seamlessly and feel satisfying to handle. It’s more than just a puzzle; it’s an experience of craftsmanship and creativity, inviting you to slow down, focus, and enjoy the simple pleasure of puzzle-solving.

Our Community Puzzle Table is available for all library visitors to enjoy during our regular hours. Come in, take a seat, and add a piece to the puzzle! Whether you’re visiting solo or with friends, it’s the perfect opportunity to spend some time away from screens, connect with others, and contribute to a collaborative effort. 

Join the Puzzle Community

We love seeing our community come together, and we invite you to participate in the puzzle-solving process! Each time you contribute to the puzzle, we ask that you press the tally counter to let us know how many people are helping build the puzzle. If you return on a different day, feel free to press the button again and continue your contributions. It’s a fun way to track how many community members participate.

We also encourage you to leave a small note about your experience! Write your name, initials, or any thoughts and feedback you have while working on the puzzle. Whether it’s a fun anecdote or just a word of encouragement for the next puzzler, your contributions will help build a community story within the puzzle itself.

The Puzzle table launched on January 25th, 2025, and so far, we have already collectively completed three puzzles and are well on our way to finishing a fourth.

What if the puzzle is already full when I want to join in?

If the puzzle table is full, we encourage you to wait for a seat to open up or return at a later time. We want everyone to have a chance to participate, so feel free to come back!

Can I bring my own puzzle to work on at the table?

The Community Puzzle Table is intended for the library’s designated puzzles.

Who can use the Community Puzzle Table?

The puzzle table is open to everyone! Whether you're visiting solo, with friends, or with family, you can join in and contribute to the puzzle during library hours. It’s a space for anyone wanting to participate in the fun and relaxation of puzzle-solving.

Do I need to reserve a spot to use the puzzle table?

No reservation is needed. The puzzle table is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Simply find a seat at the table and start adding pieces!

Can I take pieces home or remove pieces from the puzzle?

No, please leave all the pieces at the puzzle table to ensure everyone can continue working on it. The goal is for the community to come together and contribute to the puzzle’s progress!

How do I find out when new puzzles are available?
