How it Works

  • All you need is your Bud library card.
  • Games can be checked out for two weeks.
  • You can renew once and place games on hold.
    • Note: Empty video game cases will be placed on the hold shelf. When you’re ready to pick up your hold, simply bring the case to the front desk. For board games, we keep them behind the circulation desk. Just let a front desk staff member know your name and the game you've reserved, and we'll retrieve the game and check it out to you.
  • The games collection is just for Bud Werner Memorial Library patrons– no Interlibrary Loans (ILL) are permitted.
  • Video games can be returned via the book drop, but only locally.
  • Board games MUST be returned to the circulation desk with all the game pieces and the black rubber band you were provided with at check-out. Do not put the clear cases in the book drop.
  • If a game piece is missing or any pieces are damaged, please notify a staff member upon return.
  • Patrons are only allowed to 2 games, either two video games, two board games, or one of each at once.

What is in a Game Kit?

  • Each game has been transferred to an appropriately sized plastic container with labeled bags of game components, instructions, a list of game contents, and a QR code with a link to an instructional video on how to play the game.
