One Book Author Event: Dani Shapiro
- Library Hall
As the grand finale to the 2020 One Book Steamboat community read of Inheritance: A Memoir of Genealogy, Paternity and Love, author Dani Shapiro joins us for a conversation at the Bud Werner Memorial Library. Shapiro will talk about her deeply affecting book that has garnered critical acclaim and bestseller status. It has led to a podcast about other people's family secrets, and a stop on the couch with Oprah for a Super Soul Sunday. As we wrap up six weeks of reading, enrichment and discussion surrounding Inheritance and themes of identity, Shapiro is here to deepen the conversation and share her personal story as we continue to grapple with the wide range of factors that make us who we are.
This community talk is free.
